 Hardware componentsWhile the key hardware component in the Project54 system is the Common IDB Interface, which connects individual electronic devices to each other and to the central computer (Figure 2), CATLab is working on several other hardware components. Two examples are our work with an industry partner on the development of a wireless push-to- talk button and our work with another industry partner on using wireless headsets for connecting users with the central computer and with each other.
