Project54 Introduction

Here is an outline of the presentation. First the What? Why? and How? questions will be answered in the Introduction. That is, the Introduction will tell you what problems the Project54 system addresses, why we chose to pursue these problems, and how we are going about dealing with the problems.

Next he presentation will address several new approaches that the Project54 effort is taking to tackle the issues we are dealing with. The presentation will also show how these new approaches will be implemented in police cruisers and in the equipment of individual officers, going into the details of the system implementation in the Project54 System section. Finally, the conclusion will underline the major ideas of this presentation, give you the status of the project, and discuss what it would take to adopt the Project54 system in your organization.
